Unseasaonably dry weather at the start of the month followed by the expected mix of wind and rain has kept us on our toes!
Below we have included a wide range of vehicles worked on, some being one-offs and others regular customers.
Shine like a star (trail)
This 10 year old Autocruise Startrail had just been purchased by the customer. The roof was green with algae and the entire vehicle was severely oxidised.
The customer booked our Platinum valet in order to restore the van to its former glory.
We had to split the job over two days due to poor weather conditions as well as the time it took to remove the oxidation with machine polishing.
This Hymer T668, at around 2 years old, was a slightly different proposition.
Again, we carried out a Platinum valet but the degree of polishing required was significantly less than on the Autocruise.
A full day’s work for the two of us resulted in a very clean and shiny motorhome and a happy customer.
Before and after
We first valeted this Discovery Sport in June 2019, and until we saw it this month, it had not been cleaned since.
It was in a pretty bad way, having been used as the children’s taxi in rather rural locations.
We carried out our Gold level exterior and interior valet which totally transformed it. This is what the customer had to say in her review on Google.
We used GCV services for the first time half an year ago and we were very impressed. We drive a SUV, a lot off road and have two small children that mess the car up a lot. We now had a further full valet (after over 6 months without a wash) and some people asked me if I had a new car!!! John and Diana are very professional, knowledgeable, punctual and a pleasure to deal with. We are making sure to have the maintenance clean this time to maintain the amazing work they did. Thank you so much to both of you!
Something a little more sporty
The Jaguar XKR is valeted by us on a regular basis, and despite it now being around 10 years old, the black paint always looks great once cleaned.
Successor to the XKR, we periodically valet the Jaguar F Type SVR. Even in the weak January sun that paint looks wonderful.
And talking of stand-out paint, this Porsche 718 Boxster really does stand out from the crowd. We valet it a few times each year when the owner wants it to look extra special.
We do ordinary too
Whilst we love to work on expensive, high performance cars, much of our work is “ordinary” vehicles that the majority of us use on a daily basis. Here are a few.
The Nissan Qashqai received a Platinum interior and Gold exterior valet.
The Seat Leon FR was looking a little shabby given that it was only 2 months old when we valeted it. Following the Gold exterior and interior valet it was returned to new condition.
This Kia Venga generally has an annual treat from us. Again, a Gold exterior and interior valet belied its 5 years.
Keeping it regular
We see these two hot hatches on a regular basis.
Both receive a Silver level valet approximately once per month. By having the cars regularly cleaned, we are able to keep the prices we charge as low as possible, and the customers can be proud to drive their cars every day.
Is your paintwork this dull?
If your paintwork is this dull it is probably by design!
This matt grey BMW M3 was valeted by us in preparation for sale. Having a matt finish means that many of the products we use on normal, shiny paintwork are not suitable. We try to ensure we are prepared for anything, so have a special “non-shine” wax for such finishes. The carbon fibre roof and other surfaces were completed in the normal way.Contact us now if your car has a matt finish
Just a few more to finish.
The BMW 520GT had just been purchased by the customer. It had been abused internally and neglected externally. We carried out a Gold combined valet to bring it back to a more acceptable condition.
The Range Rover Vogue is valeted by us from time to time, and on each occasion is retuned to as new condition.
The Mercedes GLC received a Silver level maintenance valet. Despite being just a few months old, it was already accumulating iron fallout (brake dust), which showed up as orange specks on the pearlescent white paint. Though comtamination removal is not normally included at this level, we always try to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.
